Earth Hour 2012 takes place Saturday March 31 from 8:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. local time. Individuals, businesses, governments and communities are all invited to turn out their lights for one hour to show their support for environmentally sustainable action. Pocoyo is the Global Kids’ Ambassador for the new World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour 2012 “I Will if You Will” campaign. In this role he is spreading Earth Hour’s message to children around the world through activities and by participating in his own challenge. The first part of the challenge was already met, with 10,000 kids playing POCOYO’s Recycling Game, which means that Pocoyo will be planting 10,000 trees.
