Train tracks, especially those with cool layout options, are always a big hit with little locomotive lovers. We have played with lots of track sets and the two biggest problems are usually: 1) Tracks are had to put together and hard to STAY together, which means the grown-ups are the ones who end up doing all the building AND repairing. 2) It takes a LOT of space on the floor (or else a whole dining room table) to create really cool layouts (and that space continues to be used up until it's finally time to put away the toys).

So, we were happy to find that the Chuggington Die-Cast Railway 10-in-1 Layout Track Pack is specifically designed to solve both of these problems. And this ability to build UP instead of out, means the set takes up less space and keeps the area clutter-free.

Our Review:  We had LOTS of fun with the set. It includes directions to build several layouts (others can be found on-line). While I was the one who deciphered the directions - I probably shouldn't say "deciphered" because they were pretty easy - Little R was able to put the pieces together himself. I just helped him do a little bit of adjusting.

We also received Chuggington train cars and he had fun making up his own story with them as the characters as we went along.

I was impressed how well the pieces fit together and STAYED together. I really hate with car or train tracks keep falling apart! It gets both of us frustrated and I'm so happy to not have to worry about that any more with the Chuggington Die-Cast Railway.  Check out this video to see how easy it was to snap together the tracks:
