Easy Cinco De Mayo Craft - Paper Bag Pinata

Crayola has a fun idea to make a simple piñata to celebrate Cinco de Mayo using a paper grocery bag. It's a lot easier than breaking out the paper maché! Their design is a fish, but let your kids use their creativity.

Color a grocery bag using markers to color fish scales and eyes.

Finish fish features by using scissors to cut paper bag scraps to make a fish mouth, fins, and tail. Color these with markers. Glue in place and Air-dry the piñata.

Fill your piñata with goodies like colored pencils, candy or healthy snack bags. Tie it closed with colorful ribbon. Hang and let the bashing begin!
